WEEK 1 WR RANKINGS

1. Reggie Wayne(IND)-He’s the go to guy for Peyton this week
2. Terrell Owens(DAL)-Great match up against a weak Giant’s secondary
3. Plaxico Burress(NYG)- This big play threat will show up large against Dallas
4. Anquan Boldin(ARI)-Likely to be Leinart’s favorite target with Nate Clements on Fitzgerald
5. Marvin Harrison(IND)-Mike McKenzie will make him work, but Harrison outplays every cornerback he faces
6. Steve Smith (CAR)-Great match up on paper, but he has never really dominated against the Rams
7. T.J. Houshmanzadeh(CIN)-We think he will be the big play guy for Cinci this week
8. Andre Johnson(HOU)-Schaub will throw to him all day if he can
9. Marques Colston(NO)-new cb’s for the Colts translate to great numbers for Colston
10. Joey Galloway(TB)-Garcia has to get him the ball, he really doesn’t have a choice
11. Larry Fitzgerald(ARI)-Clements will try to shut him down, but it won’t happen
12. Chad Johnson(CIN)-You can’t stop him completely, but Chris McCallister is a tough match up
13. Darrell Jackson(SF)-We think Jackson could have a monster Monday night in his Niner debut
14. Torry Holt(STL)-Bum knee shouldn’t slow him down too much if at all
15. Javon Walker(DEN)-Look for him to punish a young Bills’ secondary
16. Donald Driver(GB)-Favre’s go to guy may be limited due to an ankle injury, but he’s still the go to guy
17. Hines Ward(PIT)-He will get opportunities as the Browns defense focuses more on the run
18. Laveranues Coles(NYJ)-focal point of Jet’s offense will be needed against the Pats
19. Santana Moss(WSH)-Campbell needs to get him the ball deep to be successful
20. Braylon Edwards(CLE)-Came up big in both games against Pitsburgh last year
21. Roy Williams(DET)-Tough matchup vs. Oakland’s secondary, but he’s a star
22. Mark Clayton(BAL)-He’s playing on a bad ankle, but we don’t think it’s a big concern against a team that can’t stop top receivers
23. Randy Moss(NE)-Time will tell, but his potential in New England is off the charts
24. Chris Chambers(MIA)-He will be the go to guy for Miami in this one, only problem is the Skins know that too
25. Terry Glenn(DAL)-(*Update: Don't start in Week 1. He'll miss the season opener with an injury)
26. Lee Evans(BUF)-Superstar in the making will have his hands full with Champ Bailey guarding him
27. Donte Stallworth(NE)-If the Jets focus on Randy Moss, this deep threat could have a field day
28. Jerricho Cotchery(NYJ)-With all eyes of the Pats secondary on Coles, he may surprise this week
29. Joe Horn(ATL)-This star veteran is a wild card, but the match up against a bad Viking’s secondary looks too good, and he still has something to prove
30. Jerry Porter(OAK)-Can this former star wideout return to glory?
31. Reggie Brown(PHI)-Could be a difference make for McNabb and the Eagles
32. Kevin Curtis(PHI)-newest weapon for McNabb should get on the stat sheet
33. Eddie Kennison(KC)-He’s inconsistent, but he has a good chance to put up numbers against the Texans
34. Santonio Holmes(PIT)-We expect a solid game for Holmes
35. D.J. Hackett(SEA)-Tons of potential, but for now he’s a possession WR who had a poor preseason
36. Ronald Curry(OAK)-Stepped up big at the end of last season
37. Isaac Bruce(STL)-Decent matchup against Panther corner Ken Lucas, but he’s not getting any younger
38. Mike Furrey(DET)-We aren’t sure this guy will ever get his due respect, and the arrival Calvin Johnson doesn’t help
39. Bernard Berrian(CHI)-Grossman won’t have time to hit him deep
40. Devery Henderson(NO)-Big play WR averaged 23.3 yards per catch last season
41. Deion Branch(SEA)-Ronde Barber will make sure Branch has a quiet game
42. Mushin Muhammad(CHI)-Up and down wideout was beat up in the pre season
43. Wes Welker(NE)-Gives Brady a 3rd option he’s never really had
44. Vincent Jackson(SD)-Should be a bigger part of the offense this year, especially with Eric Parker out for a month or more
45. Amani Toomer(NYG)-3rd option for Eli, but he has potential against the Cowboys
46. Greg Jennings(GB)-Needs to show up to give Packers a chance
47. Anthony Gonzalez(IND)-He will fill the Brandon Stokley slot receiver role that Manning uses so often, could make a name for himself fast
48. Derrick Mason(Bal)-His best years are behind him and he will probably be moved to the slot
49. Drew Bennett(STL)-He’s always a threat, but injuries may slow him this week
50. Arnaz Battle(SF)-He will get a few looks, but don’t expect much
51. Marty Booker(MIA)-Dolphin’s #2 wideout is very unpredictable
52. Brandon Jones(TEN)-Capable, but will Young be able to get him the ball?
53. Calvin Johnson(DET)-He has to earn a starting spot, we think he will, just not in week 1
54. Ted Ginn(MIA)-If your league offers good points for kick and punt returns, he may be worth playing, otherwise he is a #3 or #4 guy in this offense at this point
55. Joe Jervicius(CLE)-The good news is he had his best game of 06’ against the Steel curtain, the bad news is he had his worst game of 06’ against the Steel curtain
56. Michael Jenkins(ATL)-He may have a chance with Harrington at QB, but that’s yet to be seen
57. Troy Williamson(MIN)-The Vikings over hyped receiver has yet to prove himself
58. Drew Carter(CAR)-Attention on Steve Smith could provide him with a chance
59. Dennis Northcutt(JAC)-He has never really played up to his ability, we doubt he will at this point
60. Brandon Marshall(DEN)-3rd on the depth chart leaves him with mop up duty
