Patriots-Cowboys Garners Huge Ratings

Sunday’s CBS game featuring the undefeated New England Patriots pummeling the then-undefeated Dallas Cowboys was viewed by 29.1 million fans, according to the NFL. The game was the most-watched regular season game on an NFL Sunday since the Dallas-San Francisco game on Nov. 10, 1996 (29.7 million viewers on FOX).

The New England-Dallas game also topped the week’s second-most watched show by more than nine million viewers (CSI, 19.8 million viewers) and is the most-watched show of the TV season.
